Questions about pricing.
Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes. Free is a permanent plan, not a trial: one project, a weekly crawl of up to 500 pages, the Health Score, every finding, and your Google Search Console data. No credit card, no expiry. The free tools and the open-source CLI are how people discover siteOS, so keeping them free is the business model, not a promotion.
What happens if my site has more than 500 pages?
The crawl stops at the plan's page limit and the dashboard tells you it was truncated. You still get a Health Score and findings for the pages that were crawled, starting with your sitemap URLs. Pro raises the limit to 5,000 pages per project; if you need more than that, email us and we will sort it out.
What is the difference between the CLI and the dashboard?
The CLI (npx siteos-check) is the open-source crawl engine. It runs on your machine or in CI against a URL, a static build folder, or a local dev server, prints a report, and is free and unlimited. The dashboard runs the same engine on a schedule from our servers and adds what a one-off run cannot: history, Health Score trends, Search Console data, alerts, and a team view.
Do I have to connect Google Search Console?
No, it is optional. When you do, siteOS requests read-only access to Search Console, never to the rest of your Google account. Tokens are stored encrypted, we only read the properties you pick, and you can disconnect from the dashboard or revoke access from your Google account at any time.
Can I cancel Pro at any time?
Yes, from the billing portal in one click. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, then your account moves back to Free. Nothing is deleted: projects beyond the first are paused, not removed, and come back if you upgrade again.
How is billing handled?
Payments go through Stripe. Pay monthly (€19) or yearly (€190, two months free) by card; you get an invoice by email for every payment and can update your card, switch plans, or download past invoices from the Stripe customer portal.
Do you charge VAT? Can I get an invoice for my company?
siteOS is published by a company registered in Malta, in the EU, and prices are shown excluding VAT. EU businesses with a valid VAT number are charged with the reverse-charge mechanism (0% VAT on the invoice); EU consumers pay the VAT rate of their country; customers outside the EU are not charged VAT. Add your company name and VAT number at checkout and every invoice will carry them.
I need more than 10 projects or 5,000 pages. Is there an Enterprise plan?
There is no Enterprise tier, on purpose. If you run an agency or a large site, email us with what you need and we will set up a custom limit on top of Pro.
